Melania Trump Refusing to Offer Meeting With Jill Biden

Melania Trump, America's first lady, is following in the footsteps of her husband Donald Trump. Namely, she has not yet had a telephone conversation with the future first lady Jill Biden,
writes the Daily Mail.

The Trump family does not recognize the victory of Joe Biden in the presidential elections held on November 3, and the still acting president of the USA, does not intend to receive Joe Biden in the White House for now, according to American media.

Trump claims that there was an election fraud and announced a lawsuit to the Supreme Court.

Jill Biden, however, has already devised a schedule for her future activities, the Daily Mail writes.

According to Jill Biden's spokesman, Michael La Rosa, Jill is focused on forming her team and a plan to tackle issues while prioritizing education, the families of soldiers and veterans, as well as the fight against cancer.
He also said that the future first lady wants to continue working as a teacher.

There are many questions about the transition process that still need to be answered, including whether Trump will host the Biden couple, given that tradition dictates that a couple who were elected to the White House eventually host their heirs.

The east wing did not respond to the request of the Dailymail.com portal to comment on the events.

The Obama couple gave a warm welcome to Trump four years ago, despite Donald Trump's derogatory comments about Barack Obama, among which stood out the question of whether he was born in the United States.

Barack and Michelle Obama hosted Donald and Melania Trump on November 10, 2016, just two days after Trump won the election.

While the men were talking in the West Wing of the White House, the wives were drinking tea and talking at the residence. Michelle took Melania through the premises of the private part of the "first family" and showed her Truman's balcony.

In an interview from 2018, Michelle Obama said that she told Melania to call her at any time, mentioning that her predecessor Laura Bush reacted in the same way in due time and that she was very grateful for that offer.
