The National Association of Minor Leagues (NAML) today announced the launching of a Hall of Fame honoring all past and present players who have or are playing minor league professional sports.
"Whether you previously played in the Minor Leagues or are currently playing, one thing is for sure - you were/are a gifted athlete who contributed greatly to American sports," stated NAML Executive Director Damon Cannon. "You played for all the right reasons including the Spirit of Competition. You provided thousands of fans with exciting sports entertainment at affordable prices and you certainly deserve to be recognized for your efforts. It takes exceptional talent to rise to minor league status; you are special."
As a member of the Minor League Hall of Fame, players will be permanently registered on the NAML website, receive a Certificate of Membership, will be entitled to wear Official NAML Hall of Fame apparel, will be featured on the new Minor League Sports Channel (MLSC) which will be launched this spring and for the first time, be truly appreciated and respected for your contributions to American Sports.
